Just a heads up for anyone looking for AV software
I just got a new PC which had Norton AV installed (60 days trial) so I thought I'd give it the benefit of the doubt whilst loading all my other stuff.
I haven't used Norton for years, as it is a resource hog.
This time it proved it's worth by protecting my email - just a little too well.
I could access my pop servers once, and then every time after that, the connection was refused - a perfectly safe way to deal with email!!
Removing Norton and installing NOD 32 solved the problem, although this too may go out of the window, as I need a new firewall (Kerio is driving me nuts!) and am looking at F-Secure's suite.
