Hello

I have a laptop and using a drive washer (stompsoftware) to clean Data on the hard drive. i'm no experience with this programme. Can anyone help? especially when i'm using the application disk i always get this message "error occured while loading"..

Why do you want to clean Data on the hard drive?

If you install Eraser (http://www.heidi.ie/) you can create a DBAN nuke disk (http://dban.sourceforge.net/) from its options in the start menu.

A couple of days back I used my copy to nuke both an old 10 GB HDD and a 1 GB HDD [still in my 1st PC of Xmas 1996], both at the same time.

Took many hours to complete, but was successful.
Only a single "round" or whatever the term is and 7 "passes".
