It seems odd the courts had to rule on this but it makes it easier for malware/crapware/adware removal companies and organizations to be able to call it what it is.
Zango sued Kaspersky for calling Zango (180-Degree Solutions) software spyware, but the Court ruled that Kaspersky can call the software anything they like to because it is objectionable software in Kaspersky's opinion:
