I just acquired another computer with a SCSI hard drive. I would like to put my existing, higher volume IDE drive in the new computer. Will it work in the SCSI computer?
Thanks in advance for your time!

It should work, but is not always advisable. When you mix SCSI and IDE hard drives, the computer has a hard time with which one should boot, unless you do some pretty good configuring. The system wants to look for and boot to the IDE drive by default.
The PC Guide has a much better explanation in IDE vs SCSI (http://www.pcguide.com/ref/hdd/if/scsi/conf_IDE.htm) along with info on how to do it.

Unless you have a system with a BIOS option that lets you select SCSi to boot from first, it will always boot from the IDE drive. Probably not worth the hassle unless the SCSI drive is fairly new, or you plan to get a new one.
