Yes I have a 64 bit memory card in my system now. And I want to upgrade to 128 bit. Do I have to purchase a 128 bit card or can I purchase another 64 bit card to make 128? Also if I do get a 128 bit card do I have to take my old one out or can I leave it in there?

Hey,
First place you should start is to read your motherboard manual. It should tell you the maximum size memory chips it will work with. Also, it will tell you the maximum amount of memory it will support.
Start there and get back to us if you have further questions.

In addition, it's Megabytes, not bits, just so you'll know...
If the motherboard supports more than 64MB (MegaBytes) memory, you can keep the old memory as long as you have the slot(s) available. If you don't have an available slot, then you'll have to get a 128MB chip.
You'll need to know what type the current memory is, 72 pin SIMM won't work in a 168 pin DIMM or SDRAM slot.
As Blue said, check the motherboard manual, it will have info you need before rushing out and buying memory. Another good point he made is to make sure the motherboard will support the size chips you plan to try and use.
