playing games "mad caps"

i download "mad caps" for my wife for 19.99 usd. Now every time she plays the screen goes to 800x600 resolution. i change back to 1024x768 and when she finish to play it's back to 800x600 . It is a 19" lcd widescreen. Any help!!? thanks.gefeiora

Sounds like a graphics driver problem. Or a game settings problem, but I doubt that.

What kind of computer is this? OEM pre-built or custom? What model number or components? Do you happen to know which vid card/onboard video it has in it, off-hand?

thanks saphalline for replying. I don't know too much about computers but i can tell it is HPpavillon a1637c - 64x2 dual core .
graphics-NVDIA g force 650le Memory 1024 H.D 250gb .The game , i just download from some place on internet.thanks .cafeiora

Info on the game is slim at best. There seems to be no immediate solution or even any indication that anyone else is having the same problem. It may be an issue of driver updates, or it may be one of those "you'll have to live with it" problems. :rolleyes:

saphalline, like you said "you'll have to live with it" it is just wright. I received a email from Madcaps saying the game was made for 800x600, but lately if she leaves the PC in standby, stays at 1024x768. thanks again, gefeiora

Bummer on that. You'd think a game made for modern systems would more gracefully handle resolutions. Ah well. Cheap and fun don't always fit nicely into our everyday lives! :D ;)
