Frequent PC Freezes

my win xp pc freezes frequently, everything keeps on loading but i dont have any control of my keyboard or mouse until i press ctrl+alt+dlt. its seriously pissing me off now cuz lets say im playing my favourite game, and every 5 min my pc freezes so i die -.- sometimes i also get errors without a title it just says: Already Connected. plz help :S :mad:

What kind of internet/network connection do you have?

on the status it says 100mb but aol provides me with 1mb :S

Not what speed...what type, DSL, cable, direct connection, connected through a router, wireless router, etc...what is the exact layout of your network connection? How EXACTLY do you connect to the internet?

its a dsl wireless router (shared with 1 laptop) im connected by a Ethernet cable, goes into my LAN port or whatever its called :P
