It prevents me from trying to erase some WINantispyware2007 she downloaded. I pretty much know these are fake and ruin your computer. There are so many high risk things that are trying to access the computer. The windows warnings from Norton just keep coming. Norton didn't seem to help since we are not subscribers. Only the main computer has access to Mcafee. She just gave this computer and its pretty much messed up! There's this does window that keeps popping each time I restart the computers. the >> _ << the underline keeps popping in random spots on the dos window that it loads. It won't allow me to turn off this icon. The icon only says when u hover on it "initializing realtime agents. I need the computer fixed. To whatever adult virus content she put on the computer must removed because I don't want my little bro's new personal computer popping nasty crap. this is the worst laptop i've ever experienced. Its worse than mine. Maybe the antispyware program jacked up her computer. Then other pops appear trying to force me to dowload. I even tried to fix it and it keeps preventing me from removing the spyware program. It will start popping stuff and make my internet program 'not responding". When I type the very words to remove it-it goes to a local search engine.

If this is a 'hand me down' why not just wipe it and reinstall?

Before we get into a million scans, Go to Add/Remove programs and ininstall Winantispyware. Then open Hijackthis and place a check next to:

Sorry to intrude, but you are going to need ComboFix on this one...

1. Download this file - combofix.exe (http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe)
2. Double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
3. When finished, it will produce a log for you. Post that log in your next reply

Note:
Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall...
