No Video

hi guys i have a hp media center pc that come on but tell me no input signal
and it does not pick up the keyboard the dvd drive and cd drive seem to work
once i press them they open and close i wonder if there any way i can check
to see what the problem without a display on my monitor please help

well just because theyre opening means that the PSU is working. Opening the drives has nothing to do with the system itself.

DIAGNOSTICS
1. Make sure the Motherboard is working
2. Make sure all components are connected properly
3. Check for BIOS beep codes

Post back if you nailed it down to 1, 2, or 3.
