Is it crashing regularly? How old is the system? Have you done any housecleaning of the innards, i.e., dust removal from heatsinks etc.?

the system is 4 years old and yes it is crashing reguarly after every 30 minutes sometimes after every 5 minutes especially if i play some 3d games on my pc. Well this problem started 1 week back, when i was playing an 3d game (FIFA 2005) and have been a regular problem eversince and is really frustating. I m just looking for some short term solution cause i will be buying an new system after 3 months.

Seem to me that u have an overheating problem, check the cooling system of ur processor, graphic card or even the hard disks.
Perhaps if time to clean the inside of ur case to remove the dust and dirt accumulated there.
