The easiest way to learn a programming language is to start programming. It's called "learn-as-you-go".

Buy a book, go on a course or search the web (http://www.google.ie/search?hl=en&q=tutorial+C%2B%2B&btnG=Google+Search&meta=).

Trust me, there is no easy way to learn C++. If you want to write programs any more sophisticated than a calculator, It takes long, hard hours at the keyboard to become proficient. A book is a crapshoot. I own four, but can only really use one of them because the rest are so arcane. I recommend taking a college course on campus. In an online course, it's as if you had no professor at all. And unless you're just taking the course as a refresher, you're going to want a professor or at least a couple of skilled undergrads handy to answer questions.
Good luck.:)

I'd have to agree with yawningdog. It's really difficult to learn a programming language from online tutorials or a book, or from experience. Im not saying it can't be done but it would take a long time to get it right and a lot of head bashing effort. I've tried reading books and stuff but i gave up on the 3 page of it only because i couldn't wait that long to learn. Instead i got a crash courses from my uncle who is a full time programmer and was delighted to teach me. If you really want to learn the right way, get a professor or school course where you can ask questions if you have to and where as the teacher can show you what you are doing wrong.
Good Luck :) Happy programming
