please tell me about windows vista. I am planning to buy a ne laptop with windows vista but i heard a lot that vista have many trouble like the sound and it always freeze and hangs. How true info? Thanks a lot.

While that was true back in January, it isn't quite the case now...most of the problems had to do with drivers, more specifically the lack of complete, up-to-date, Visa compatible driver packages.

On to the 'freezing' issues...many of them can be related to driver or memory problems. Vista, especially with all the 'eye-candy' turned on eats RAM like a geek eats Cheetos...2 GB of RAM is barely enough to have decent response and good performance, especially with on board video (most laptops fall into this category)...3GB is even better.

I'd get the RAM bumped up to 2 GB...you'll find it behaves a lot smoother that way.
