My PC recently just broke down and I got free parts/dell technician to install new memory/motherboard and he told me to get airdust remover.

I haven't got to that yet, but twice my computer has went to blue screen saying that it encountered a problem, and the tower is making dial up internet sounds (the cranking sound) very lightly though.

I read online that it it might be my fans are covered in dust (I get alot of dust in my computer room)

What should I do, could it be something more serious?
Untill then, I'm going to get airdust remover.

If the technician told you to get an airdust remover, that could be your problem. After you clean it up, post back and let us know if it solved your problem.

careful cleaning the fan blades. Keep them from spinning while you're blowing the dust off.

Just like you need to lift the hood of a car to check the oil, you need to open your tower case to clean out the dust. With close attention to the dust collecting in and around the processor's heatsink and fan.
