Hi at all!!!
V76m has a 66/100 fsb...
I have a p3 700 256/100/1.65V on this motherboard, the moltiplier is 7.
Today I have tried a celeron 633mhz 128/66/1.65V that has a 9.5 moltiplier and it runs without problems...!!!
I have tried the celeron 633 at 100 mhz(it runs at 950 mhz) but the system is not stable at the first mouse click...
Can I be sure that a p3 900 fsb100 runs without problems?

Well, I don't see why it shouldn't....but there are always reasons why it won't. The first thing we need to know is what exact revision/model of that board you have...because it probably won't run anything other than 3.3v CPU. And what make/model of Acer it is in/came out of...

By the way, that was one serious overclock you put on that Celeron...about 50%...that is why it wasn't stable.

On the MB is: "V76M MB 98146-2" and "SIS 620 A2".
It has a p3 700 that runs at 1.65V. The MB has nothing in the Bios and no jumpers to change the core voltage and the cpu moltiplier...

It's the only manner to overclock it on this MB... (about +50%)

Yep, it should run just fine.
