windows xp crash

hi all i hope someone can help.

i crashed my computer and was lucky enough to have windows xp disc to restart it. however i seem to have lost the drivers for my sound card and something called 3d, which i think is a graphics driver (accelerator?).

what can i do.

You mean you lost the cd with the drivers on it? If so you arn't hopeless as you can just download the drivers off the internet. Down side is you have to know the make and model of your sound card and video cards as mjc mentioned computer details.
