Help!!

For some reason the startup command program ( i think its called that ) has disappeared. Its the one in control panel that lets you determine what progs you want to start at log in)

I recently removed Ace Mega codecs as i had a problem running F.E.A.R. , and i recall it said some files are shared do you still want to uninstall codec pack? i clicked yes, and since then i have lost my startup prog. any ideas?

The Start Menu is a composite menu made up from the settings at:
C:\Documents and Settings\<UserName>\Start Menu
plus those at
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu

Within that composite Start Menu there is normally another sub-folder called Programs and that contains yet another sub-folder called Startup. Any shortcuts to programs placed in the composite Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup location should run at run-time.

If the folders have been deleted from user and all users then they need recreating and the program shortcuts that you want to run at run-time added to them. Add them to all users for all users to have them at run-time or just to your own profile if that is what you want.
