Just in time debugger????

What is it, and why does it pop-up every now and then and says "new- instance of microsoft script editor" ?????

I assume this is happening while browsing?

Script debugging is turned on...

Open Tools > Internet Options.

Then click on Advanced tab. Search for : Browsing > Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer) and Browsing > Disable script debugging (other). Turn off both of them and it should send the debugger back to sleep.

nope- not internet- AIM is the cause of the error (it has a script error and it keeps causing the just-in-time debugging to pop-up)

Then the second setting should kill it...unless AIM has its own option to turn off script debugging. Most of the problems that cause the script debugger to pop up are not things that can be 'fixed' on your end...the problems lies with the script on the server, so any debugging needs to be done on that end.
