I'm new here so bare with me lol. Was just wondering what peoples gamming specs were, like what consoles you got and what specs are in your pc.

Mine are:

AMD 64-bit dual core 4800(only draw back in my pc)
4 gigs of DDR800
Dual Geforce 8600 512MB Ram a piece
Sata 10K 3.0

Ps1 Sega Nintendo Gamecube
Ps2 Sega Saturn Super Nintendo "Want a WII"
Ps3 Sega Dreamcast Nintendo 64

Your graphics card isn't great for gaming, but its fine. The x2 4800+ is not a drawback to your PC, that's a good processor.

Welcome to the pc guide forums!!!

My computer is in my signature. Take a look. I know, i need a new video card. I mean , its not that bad but im pretty outdated compared to the new cards today. I was planning on two 8800gtx's when i get a chance to buy, or, ill just wait for the next generation dx10 cards (just because they will have much better support for dx10 since the dx10 card at the moment are the first to support it and are missing features).

I also got ps1, ps2, ps3, xbox (not the 360)

Athlon64 FX-60
2GB DDR400 dual-channel
GeForce 8800 GTS 640MB version (factory OC'ed)
several SATA 300 7200rpm HDD's (soon to be diverged)
original Logitech G5 laser mouse
dual-boot WinXP Pro & Vista Ultimate 64-bit
all powered by a 650W Seasonic S12-650!! :D

(I also have a Nintendo Gamecube kickin' around from my brother's upgrade to a Wii. Strange device, that Wii. It has some awesome features and capabilities, but darned if I can get used to that remote! :p)

next generation dx10 cards (just because they will have much better support for dx10 since the dx10 card at the moment are the first to support it and are missing features). No they aren't. If they were missing features, they wouldn't be DX10 GPU's! :p The only difference between various DX10 vid cards is performance. They all support the same features.
