i am looking for a new notebook and have found one that i want but there are two models and they both have the options i want but they have different processors and i was wondering what the difference was the two processors are
Intel Core 2 Duo processor T5250
and
AMD Turion 64x2 Dual Core Mobile Technology
if ne1 can help me i would be greatly appreciated

The core 2 duo's are newer processors form intel. Amd turion are older mobile x2 cpus. Both of them are dual core which means you have two processors in your system in one. Put it this way, you really wont notice much of a difference unless you benchmark your system. Even though, i'd go with the core 2 duo in my opinion.

Spearball is right
Intel is way ahead of AMD at the current time
it all depends on price, and what you want to do.
Say if its 50 bucks less for the Turion system, go with that.
But if you plan to do photo editing or something in that league
get the Intel.
