Okay, my question is about compatibility.

Will an AMD 64bit 6000+ x2 processor run on a 32bit WINXP Home?

Or will I need to purchase a 64bit operating system? Thanks.

Nearly all 64bit hardware architecture is backward compatible with 32bit software.
