I have been downloading alot of movies onto my flash drive and one day a folder appeared on it that had alot of folders inside of it. When I went to properties for each folder it said that each of them were like 100 gb each, but my flash drive is only 4 gb. Inside each of these folders were alot of weird symbols. I tried to delete the folder many times, but can't. Now I can't even open this folder. There is also something else that's weird. Sometimes I can store 3 movies which are about 700 mb each in my flash drive, but sometimes I can only store two and the computer says I only have 100 mb of free space left. Please help.

This HP utility (http://h18000.www1.hp.com/support/files/serveroptions/us/download/23839.html) though intended for making flash drives bootable can also format them. HP used to do a utility that simply formatted flash drives but it is no longer made available and so this much larger download is required from them.
If that doesnt clean up your flash drive try zeroing it with Active@ or similar and then reformat it.

thanks, but I'm using the computer at the library and it won't let me do anything so it'll be a while before I can try it.
