Hi there,

I am setting up a fish tank in my basement. I want to know how can I add a webcam to take video of the fish tank while viewing online on a website or something like that.

The reason why I want to do this, is so when I am away at work or vacation I can always have a view on what is going on there.

Set up the camera and point it at the tank as you might normally do. Then I would simply set up an RDP or VNC connection so that you could just use a remote desktop session to view the tank. A web based connection will require a lot more savvy, although it can be done. If anyone knows a website style approach to this, I'd be interested in reading it myself.

There is a utility on there what allows you to stream your webcam online, all you would have to do to look at is type the ip address in online... and you would see it...
