Hi, I was wondering if anyone had a similar problem as this:
I recently pulled the CMOS battery in order to use expired print cartridges. However, when I set the date/time from the front panel, it is not remembered after a power save or power off operation. Also, alignment settings and color calibration are not remembered either. My non-volatile memory seems to have died. Has anyone else had a similar problem? I replaced the CMOS battery, and spent hours with a HP technician who was absolutely no help at all. I could live with the date/time problem, but not the alignment, since I use this printer for printing pics. Thanks in advance.
