I installed webmin for my Linux server administration and it's all working fine except.....

The webmin is running in ssl mode which as you know encrypts the pages you visit but how can i set it up so that when i visit my webmin link without the "https" link in my address bar ( For example http://MYWEBMINSERVER:10000) it doesn't show me this......

Error - Bad Request

This web server is running in SSL mode. Try the URL https://MYWEBMINSERVER:10000/ instead.

I would want it so that it just doesn't bring up a page at all, just times out if you put out the http"s".
Thanks

From a security perspective it can also be a good idea to change the default port that Webmin runs on to something other than 10000.

Ok i changed the port but i still dont know how to make my own custom error page to come up instead of the default that i posted. I am not running apache im running the web server that came with webmin on linux. Where to i go to edit the error page?

haven't turned up anything specific but try looking in /usr/local/webmin for the pages.
