UK IP addresses or working proxies from Spain?

I am from the UK although I live in Spain and id like to watch live TV via my internet. BBC and ITV websites show live tv but its restricted for uk users only. I have tried using a proxy search engine but the media player stays blank,so maybe the proxies arnt working or the media player is detecting that a proxy is used hence not showing the live stream.
Im sure someone outside the uk has got these players to work,but im not sure how.

This is an intriguing problem. I may or may not be able to help, but I'm curious to know the setup. Which websites are you going to for the webcast? Do you need TV/video hardware?
