Plz help networking noob

its been about a year since i purchased a netgear wireless router the basic model i needed so my families computer but long story short no problems until i got my 360 and now i have it connected but the NAT is set on stric if anyone could tell me how i can set it to open that would be very helpful

We would like to help but heres a couple little hints to get that help. First, we don't speak net chat. Use full words and complete sentences. Second, we will need more information. What model is the router? What have you tried so far? Have you spoke with Netgear's support?

thank you, the router is a WGR614 wireless G. I have tried using resource disk that came with it to open the NAT but there doesn't seem to be a plain and simple option for it so i disabled my security for the network do to where i live i find it unnecessary anyway hoping that would solve it but it hasn't and for netgear support there website seems be worthless and i haven't tried calling them

What do you mean by "open the NAT" ?

My 360 and pc say my NAT is set on strict. I guess there is 3 settings open, moderate, and strict. Based on which one it is set to it limits things like connecting to other players and making my connection slower
