I'm looking for URLs to any sites where I can obtain information on programming computer hardware. For PC, anything on writing BIOS code, boot loader code and specifications for PCI, ISA, ATA, IDE, SCSI, USB or AGP would be very helpful. And anything on the insides of the Mac, Alpha, MIPS, or SPARC would also be helpful.

Hi tdewolf

I'm afraid I don't know of any website with all of that info, but there use to be a book called "PC Intern" that had alot of info about hardware. I have an older version of the book, and from what I remember it spoke alot about memory addresses for hardware and other things. If you're near a book store and get a chance, that might be a book worth checking out. It might be something close to what you're looking for.

Hope this helps. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif
