5% additional cost for a 16MB cache on an HDD intended for external use? Only if the primary mode of use is eSATA would the extra cost benefit the transfer speeds. On USB 2.0, you'd never see it! So I guess that depends.

i have been looking at other cases...
(hence why the case is listed has "negotiable")

and yes, i want eSATA. i have the internal SATA port for a 3rd and 4th drive, but only have 3 spaces for Drives...
as for the 5% increase for the 16MB... sounds like a good investment

And Saph- i will tell you how i like the eSATA!

Ooh! Pretty!

I like that one better! It's more expensive, but it's a Thermaltake! :cool: It's bound to be worth it! And the blue fan. Definitely the blue fan.

looks cool but i think the first black external HDD drive you chose first would look better :p even better if you put a blue fan in that black and blue :cool:

naw... the rosewell is not in stock right now and i have the moneey to buy the better thermaltake...
looks are not that important to me- function and reliability are primary
