Vista: keep getting kicked off

I am running a Windows Vista machine with a wireless card. I have my router within range but I keep getting booted off. My network is secured. I don't think that the other computers in my house are effecting the connection. Please help!

Welcome to PC Guide jonfreeze,

1. What firewall are you using ?
2. Disable the firewall for a short time only, to see if you still get booted off when the firewall is disable.
3. Do you still get booted if you connect with a wire from the pc to the router ?
