Not awful, but not great.
I will let the hardware wonks comment on the build itself.

the build itself it good and will do some good gaming...
if you can change a few things
-You have chosen a 650i MOBO with it
Motherboard: Asus P5N-E SLI nForce® 650i SLI Chipset w/6-channel CODEC, Gb LAN, S-ATA Raid, USB 2.0, IEEE-1394 Dual PCI-E MB
try and get a 680i...
-Also try to get Vista Home Premium and MAKE SURE IT IS 64BIT
-Last if you get vista try to get 4Gb when you have the spare cash you will notice a difference
-Drop the CD-RW drive you have a DVD-RW/CD-RW already

What is the warranty on it?
You using it for gaming?

also you may be able to get it cheaper if you built it yourself i will price the parts up on newegg later

Just had a look on newegg (http://www.newegg.com) and once added together it was about the same but improvements could be made easier and get more "bang for your buck"
i did it with those exact same products you had there, but had to guess about the speakers, case, the make of 8800GT... But for what your getting YES that is a good price ;)
