They want the university administrators to install this software, which collects information on student Internet activity.

What they don't say:
They then will sue the university for the information since they know the university has the information.

Just say No.

Turns out Ubuntu developer Matthew Garrett found out the MPAA violated the licensing, their ISP had to respond to a take down request on the software from the site.
MPAA first did not respond to his takedown requests but their ISP did.
