Looks good..
but i do not think the CPU will work...
get instead:

and buy a cheap micro ATX motherboard (with a cheap case, decent 350W PSU) and get a testing computer when you upgrade to Penryn

Why will I need a testing computer? For the mobo? I can buy everything except the mobo and CPU now, since I already have a (P.O.S.) computer I'm fine with waiting for Penryn mobos to come out. I just wanna buy things now with the xmas deals.

That CPU should work but I would get an X38 chipset board or wait for the nVidia 700 series boards.

what i meant was a seperate computer that you could use to "test" and "play" around with when you upgrade your current build to Penryn.
sorry for the confusion.

Im not sure what I could test on a separate computer that I cant do on that one... Just to see if everything works together and adjust timings? I know you guys dont like overclocking, and I plan on not OCing my stuff, but will linking and syncing my FSB with RAM be just as dangerous?

i mean like "Operating systems (free)", timings ( if you want to OC), etc.
of just to have a spare PC lying around
even if you get the lower end celeron, getting a cheap ATX micro mobo (usually does not need a GPU), a simple PSU, some RAM.. and a HD.... you have a spare computer if you primary one has to go into the shop for any reason...

OK, I see. I dont think I'll be spending any more than I have to, the Celeron is only to let my computer run so I can get it all set up and work out any problems. I'll be getting a $200-300 Penryn when they come out and dont really have $200 to basically throw away on a processor that will last a month.
