Connection dropping

I seem to have major problems with my internet connection dropping when im playing cs source and on xfire chatting with people at the same time. It doesn't always happen though. When it does my connection drops, come back on, drops, comes on , etc. I am plugged into a linksys BEFSX41 firewall router.

i had the exact same problem with comcast. the problem lies in the usage of your internet and how much info is being processed. I would be playing a game on my xbox, I could have about 3 other guys in there or id drop my connection. the more guys connected to my box the worse basicly. you can either purcase more latency from ur isp or get a new ISP. I have a Fiber Optic connection from verizon but its a pretty penny.

But i already got extreme high speed PLUS with videotron.
