Very slow loading windows

My cousin, for past three four days is experiencing this problem, he has HP machine with Windows Media Center.

When the system is switch on, it shows the loading screen (this takes about 5 to 10 minutes), then screen goes blank(for few minutes) and then the Welcome note appears and it stays (for another 5 minutes) and then the desktop finally comes.
but here the machines take about 5 minutes for settling down.

He has scanned for any virus and found none.
The CPU usage shows a range between 30 to 50.

And also startup items are remove, leaving only important ones, even then the same problem occurs.

Post a Hijack this log on here it does sound like a virus...

An other thing you can do to quicken up the speed of your start up is

Run > msconfig
