Hey guys havnt been on here for awhile lol..

I have a slight problem,i have brought the Thermaltake 760i installed it all in my pc started it up and all seemed well untill i felt the copper piping on my Asus Striker Exteme and it was boilin!! couldnt believe it i could hardly touch it.:( had to turn the pc off quicky incase something happend..

Dont no if this is because the cpu waterblock isnt making proper contact with the cpu..this is where i need some help!????

I also have a VGA Waterblock in the system. So it gose from the Bigwater 760i to the righthand side of the VGA Waterblock, out the lefthand side of the VGA to the bottom of the CPU Waterblock then out the top of the Waterblock then back into the Bigwater 760i closing the water system? this is where i dont no if i have it all set up right!

If any of you guys could help that would be good!! Thanks (ShaRkey¬)

It should be routed to the CPU first
Then to the Video
Then back to the cooler/radiator

First place I would look is the Pump and check the flow
Second look for airlock ( any air in lines )

If you are referring to the heat sinks and heat pipes that help cool the chipset and voltage regulators, those heat sinks rely on the CPU fan to help cool them. When you removed the CPU HSF and and installed water cooling on the CPU you also removed the chipset's fan. You need to put a fan blowing on the chipset heat sinks or water cool them too. Your motherboard came with a fan for one of the heat sinks

Do you have it installed?

Ok yes i do have one of these fans!!,but not installed.i will install it if its going to make a difference?is there any reason why the heat sinks and heat pipes are getting so hot?

So it should go top of the cpu block then out the bottom then to the GPU block then back to the rad? thanks guys...

Its realy a tight squeeze to get the cpu water block on,because the heatsinks around the cpu are in the way! is there away i can get round this?i can turn the waterblock the otherway round and it fits fine, but i dont no if this would be installed properly though??? thanks.

Ok i now have this fitted!!
Does the out flow need 2 go to the bottom of the cpu waterblock 1st then out the top?

I think I covered that.

That optional chipset fan that came with your motherboard is not enough to cool all of chipset heatsinks. Have you checked the temp of your memory? I ask because it also needs the CPU fan to help cool its heat sinks. Does your case have a fan in the side panel? If it doesn't install one or buy a different case.

I have this fan fitted to one of the heatsinks now!no i havnt checked the temp of the memory!
and i dont have a fan in the sidepanel i just have one at the back and front of the case!

thanks:rolleyes:
