What could possibly cause this error?
I'm running Windows XP on a public computer and have the public profile locked down where the user cannot access right click, cmd prompt, c drive, windows explorer, plus there is an auto log off after 1 hour and the profile is restored & history wiped. One member of the public continually causes this error when clearing the browser history themselves. I have tried at least a gazillion times to duplicate this error by just clearing the browser history and have not been successful. Any ideas on what is happening? I am at a loss. Here's the error message:

Windows cannot copy file C:\Documents & Settings\Public.orig\Local\Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\IEZ7H1A7\11167105%2FD%3Dmail%2FS %3D150500014%3ALREC%2FY%3DYAHOO%FEXP%3D1195502344% 2FA%3D4919443%2FR%3D0%2F%2A%24,http%3A%2F%2Fus.f58 5.mailyahoo.com%2Fym%2login%3F(1).htm to location C:/Documents and Settings\Public\Local\Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\IEZ7H1A7\11167105%2FD%3Dmail%2FS %3D150500014%3ALREC%2FY%3DYAHOO%FEXP%3D1195502344% 2FA%3D4919443%2FR%3D0%2F%2A%24,http%3A%2F%2Fus.f58 5.mailyahoo.com%2Fym%2login%3F(1).htm

Possible causes of this error include network problems or insufficient security.

Detail - The filename or extension is too long
Just a guess but possibly the file-name has been made longer than normal by the substitution of Unicode Hex Variables for some of the punctuation marks.

Thus:
11167105%2FD%3Dmail%2FS %3D150500014%3ALREC%2FY%3DYAHOO%FEXP%3D1195502344% 2FA%3D4919443%2FR%3D0%2F%2A%24,http%3A%2F%2Fus.f58 5.mailyahoo.com%2Fym%2login%3F(1).htm
resolves to the shorter:
11167105/D=mail/S =150500014:LREC/Y=YAHOO%FEXP=1195502344% 2FA=4919443/R=0/*$,http://us.f58 5.mailyahoo.com/ym%2login?(1).htm

Since you have disable RClick copying etc perhaps the system is automatically trying backup the user profile.

Anyways it looks as if it is related to some Yahoo mail login so the only way I can suggest you try to copy the effect is to first logon to a Yahoo mail account and then try clearing the browser history.

Thanks Paul..
I tried your suggestion this morning and it didn't work, I didn't get the error. I tried three different accounts and nothing.....clearing the history after closing the mail program had no affect...clearing the history with the mail program open had no affect. I did note in one log that after the message stayed on the screen 28 minutes, a second message came up. It was:

Windows cannot log you on because your profile cannot be loaded. Check that you are connected to the network, or that your network is functioning correctly. If the problem persists, contact your network administrator.

Detail - The operation completed successfully

I had forgotten about that one until I was looking at my notes again today.
