View Full Version : Norton Internet Security won't activate

I have downloaded patches, make sure all the services is started in the msc. Any ideas. I am thinking about AVG any ideas...........

Dont worry after tonite I am done with norton this is like the 5th time it does this out of the blue. The bad part is that I been with norton since windows 95. I am going with AVG!

I was a Norton fan back n the DOS and windoze 3.1 days...even sometime after that. They're just awful now. Be sure you uninstall completely. You may need an uninstall tool available on their website. Once you have it uninstalled, install AVG, then connect to the internet and immediately update. I have only used the free version of AVG antivirus, not their suite. I can only vouch for AVG antivirus...pretty darned good, simple interface, easy to use.
