My computer came with 32 bit Home Premium Vista. In order to install the 64 bit Ultimate I had to reformat the c drive. Now I have only the Ultimate 64 bit on the drive. However, now there is difficulty obtaining driver updates from the computer manufacturer.

QUESTION> Can I install the original operating system (Home Premium) in a partition?

I read on the windows Vista site that earlier versions need to be installed first. Would that apply to Home Premium (32) before Ultimate (64)?

Thanks for any advice.
