Hi guys and gals, I recently purchased this machine http://www.medion.de/md8828/uk/flash.html which i am happy with, but ithought i'd be able to run games at higher rates that i can.

I have just been to tescos and saw this machine http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.202-2819.aspx

My question is, how much better is the pc from tescos than the one i bought? Or should i stick to the one i have? Is my processor good? Is the graphics card better on the tesco machine??

any help would be greatly appreciated. I can run gears of war, but it seems a bit choppy. I can run crisis on medium and it runs perfectly. I'm not a pc buff so not to clued up on the current technology. I do like the blu-ray and HD player on my machine though, which the tescos machine does not have.

Welcome to the PCGuide!

The Tescos PC isn't much better minus the fact it is quad-core vs. your dual core.

Thanks for the reply. People have been suggesting that i upgrade the graphics card to a NVidia 8800GTS. Will this allow me to run my games on max settings and also, does it have HDMI conectivity?

check that 8800GTS 512MB G92 or the 8800GT

and i think yes it does support HDMI. wheres saph?? lol

i honestly think the first setup is great with the E6750 the only thing about the other one is that its 1TB of storage and quad-core... jus change the graphics card
