I recently purchased a new pc
q6600 quad core 2.4Ghz
2gb Ocz RAM
nvidea geforce 8800gt 512mb
500gb WD HDD
Gigabyte S Series motherboard
Vista 64 bit

The problem that i started with was getting a router that suited the vista 64 bit which i recently purchased (Belkin N1 )
My main problem is that everytime i turn on my PC the router disconnects, even with no cables plugged in to my PC except for the power lead it still disconnects. I took the Pc to another room in the house and it STILL does it.
Could somebody please please help me on this before i take a breakdown.

You mean that you have a router plugged in at location A and your PC in location B, they are not connected in any way via CAT 5 wire or a wireless connection, and turning the PC on causes the router to disconnect?

:) oh my. Erik, he may need a priest to do an exorcism rather than IT help.
