View Full Version : anyone find a way to watch TV via internet for free?
I need to find away to watch TV via my internet, but do not have any money to spend on it. I am going to be going on a long car ride with someone who wants to watch the NFL game a week from this Sunday. He will be bringing along a really good satilite addapter so he can use the internet while on the road. Does any one know where he can watch said game during the car ride?

If you go to nfl.com during the game, click on the link near the top of the page for the game you want to watch and there is a link for "nfl.com/live" companion live broadcast. I watched the Packers game this way a couple weeks ago. Depending on connection/maintained signal, it can be a little choppy or drop broadcast all together. Just log back in. It is free and it is not a pirated feed ;)

Just let me know what part of the country you'll be in so I can stay off the road, I don't wanna be even in the same state if you're driving and staring at a TV...
Several things. I am not driving probably. Even if I was, I could care less about the game, and the same could go with the person who probably is going to drive. you don't need to worry about me driving and staring at a TV.

I downloaded VEOH after someone posted about it here. Like the program but the vid quality is definitely hit or miss depending on who uploads the video.
Anyone here try both of them?
Veoh is a horible program. The thing is a memory hog, and Veoh it self is not worth that amount of space anyways. I've heard rumors that there is comercial spyware with it, I tried it a while back and didn't like it. Miro on the other hand is pretty good. doesn't seem to use too much of my memory either.
