Happy New Year Everyone,
I am trying to send multiple emails with the same message to a number of people and I would like each person to receive the message as; From Ray To Bill From Ray To John and so on for each of the recipients.I have tried blind carbon copy where the to field
names the main address as the recipient, and group messages which does not do what I want either. The only way I could do it at the moment is to make several separate emails, which is what I want to get around.
Any help appreciated,I am sure there must be a way to do it.
Thankyou,
wombil.

you can choose to BCC them. when you create a new message via outlook 2003 (you can modify the directions easily enough in other programs) and click CC. you should have name selection, and then below the big text box, you should have 3 boxes, To, CC, and BCC, all with text boxes to the right of them. (so about 3 lines.) Once you add at least one BCC, it will apear in the new message like To, CC, and Subject. Hope I typed it so you can understand it.

Why is BCC not working for you and which e-mail client program are you using that doesn't seem capable of doing this?

Suggest that you put your own address into the To: field and then put all the other intended recipients into the BCC: field one by one or if you have a group name setup containing multiple email addresses just put the group name in the BCC: field instead. Compose message and send.

The BCC is working ok butthe message reads To "the person in the main address"
and then recipients name .what I would like is for the person to get the email as if it was the only one sent.In other words to hide the BCC part from each person on the list.
I'll try the suggested method later.Gotta go to bed now.
Thanks for the advice.
I am using outlook express and xp home.

I think you are seeing the To: field in the sent message. Send an email to someone else and BCC it to yourself to see what it looks like when received.
