If I needed help forwarding ports for game hosting would this be the right forum?

Like the nick Ghost.
Thanks Whyzman....seen that site before but never tried it. Is it trustworthy letting a program configure port forwarding?
I never had a problem in the past till now.
We've had Cablevision's Optimum Online since we got high speed and i've always been able to forward whatever ports I needed to on my own. Was easy enough with Linksys and Netgear that I could figure out.
Problem now is we switched to Verizon's FIOS. So far it seems to be a good connection, but the router/modem is an Actiontec. I wanted to continue using the Netgear since I had it configured but Verizon said since theirs is specific for fiber it needs to be used.
It's actually not a bad setup. Much more configurable then the others i've had and it's laid out well. What's nice about it is it's got a whole bunch of programs already saved for forwarding. Everything from Call Of Duty and Unreal to YIM and Emule. Select the program and you're ready to go.
Game I need forwarded isn't in there but I added it. Unfortunately I still can't host so I think i'm just missing something. Pinging is fine but noone's able to find my ip.
