Hi, I just need a little help studying for a little test I've got. I'm just wondering what these commands/parameters do in DOS.

What does \ represent in dos?
I know I sound like a newbie idiot but I never grew up with dos. I only know some basic stuff and even then I haven't used dos in a couple of years. Thanks for your input.
Try this (http://www.computerhope.com/msdos.htm) link for a whole bunch of DOS info...

They're not commands or parameters, they're separators. Since it's your homework, we'll let you look up what they mean. mjc beat me to the link I was going to post... http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
