Very Technical question about Internet servers!!

Ok here goes,

My friend and I have used Teamspeak (VoIP service) for years. We never had any problems connecting to each others servers in the past, but for some reason in the past year or so we just cannot connect to each other in ANY way. By this I mean Teamspeak, FTP services, Game servers or anything.

You may ask, Well have you checked your Router config?
-Indeed we have my friend. We have tweaked/changed/modded/ everything thing we could on our router, OS, applications etc..

If anyone has any ideas or solutions please let me know!!

***P.S- Everyone else can connect to us but we cant to each other.

Did you ask your ISP? If so, what did they say? Have they started blocking certain protocols within the past year?

If the ISP was blocking the protocols it wouldn't work at all for anyone trying to connect.

What happens when you ping your friends public IP? Are you using dyndns? What is the result of a tracert to your friends public IP?
