Hi All,

I have Win 2000 on my desktop. Of late my computer often generates this particular error and shuts down. Though this happens mostly when am on google talk, there are times it happens even when am using the pc without even connected to net.

The errror is as follows:

Add BFCB68C9 base at BFCB3000, Date Stamp 3C9CD7EA- portcls.sys

Beginning dump of physical memory.

Can somebody throw some light on this particular issue. Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

Thanks for your time.

Cheers,

Druid

How to solve Windows system crashes in minutes.
..."After rebooting a crashed machine, we've brought up the debugger, opened a memory dump file, given the debugger a single command, and learned not only that the cause was a driver, but also the driver's name — all in less than a minute" (http://www.networkworld.com/news/2005/041105-windows-crash.html)
