Hey all,
I recently bought a pc online and I'm checking to make sure I have what the seller advertised. So far I found two things I don't really understand.

First, They advertised a Gigabyte GA-M61VME-S2 mobo and I received a GA-M61SME-S2. Are those two mobo's the same or is there a difference?

Second, they advertised a AMD 64 X 3200+ Sempron Procesor. In the dxdiag I found this:
"Processor--AMD Sempron Processor LE-1150, MMX, 3DNow, ~2.0GHz"
I'm wondering if the 3200 number means the clock speed and, if it is, why do I only have 2.0 ghz. I mean, if 3200 is a number after overclocking they didn't state it in the ad.

Thanks a lot!

The 3200 is a speed rating
BUT It is a relative speed rating or at least it was in the years gone by
Today it doesn't mean much of anything
aside from a model number or series..

Here is a link to help sort things out
http://products.amd.com/en-us/DesktopCPUFilter.aspx

it will show what each processor is and what the speed is
BTW. the AMD 64 X 3200+ Sempron is rated at 1800mhz
and the LE-=1150 is a 2000mhz
your ahead on that one

as for the Gigabit m/b
the Vme and Sme are about the same mother board
In Fact I had a hard time finding much difference between then

Aside from revision numbers

Thanks a lot! That really eases some of my concerns. Particularily after I found out Gigabyte is a Taiwanese company and their user manual for their pc is full of misspellings and bad grammar. I'm pretty happy with my pc so far and haven't run into any major problems.

Thanks again,
