Network Error In Online Game. Please help...

I just installed the recent patch for CS (Counter-Strike) (a half-life mod...) and when I go to play it online, after the installation of this patch, I get this "WARNING" when joining a server:

WARNING: UDP_OPENSOCKET: port 27015 setsockopt IP_MULTICAST_LOOP: WSAENOPROTOOPT

And it gives me the same warning 2 more times for the ports 27005, and 27025. Once I get into the server, after about 15 seconds, it disconnects me saying that I "overflowed." What is going on here???? Please tell me what this warning means and how to fix it...

Not sure if this will help but what I would try first is to uninstall and reinstall the game, making sure to backup any saves first. The teenagers here load up their harddrives with games constantly and it seems sooner or later the latest favorite game quits working. The only things that seem to work is to uninstall most of the other games or the somewhat dreaded reformat.
