'My Computer'

I know this is a silly question, but I don't know much about computers, so here goes. What is the purpose of "My Computer" on the Windows operating system? I am trying to find the answer for school. I assume it is how you acces your hard drive and your disk drives, but I'm not sure about that. Can someone please help. Thanks

sonshineswe do not do home work for peoples schooling what we do is trouble shoot PC problems.there is so much on the Internet to learn just by typing what you want.A good search engine would be www.google.com (http://www.google.com) to start.Most people here have tacken a lot of time developing there skills it takes years Books and your help spot button on your commputer are very helpful.If in the future you have a PC problem we will be more than glad to help.Luck.
