ram upgrade

how do i go from edo ram 32mb's to 64 sd ram? do i have to remove the edo's first or do i leave them in at the same time which would give me96 mb's tot?

I assume that you have memory slots for either kind?

It's generally not recommended to try running both EDO and SDRAM at the same time. Supposedly, some motherboards will support this, but you may have to change a jumper setting. Check your motherboard manual. It should tell you if running both kinds of memory at the same time is supported and what, if any, jumpers have to be reconfigured.

Personally, I would just stick to the SDRAM for now. You should notice an overall improvement and deter any problems from trying to run both at the same time. But again, check your motherboard manual. If you don't have a manual, you can usually find one in .pdf or maybe even .txt format on the manufacuturer's website.
